After Stocky: stock and production orders for small brands

Shopify retired Stocky: it left the App Store on 2 February 2026 and shut down on 31 August 2026. If you used it for stock and purchase orders, Notch covers stock by size and colour, production orders with deposits and balances, and landed cost per unit. It works alongside Shopify through CSV import, not a live sync.

Where Stocky wins

Stocky lived inside Shopify, so stock and purchase orders synced with your store without any import step.

Where Notch wins

Notch adds what Stocky never tried to do: landed cost per unit, a production tracker per drop, tech packs and line sheets, wholesale and profit per drop. Profit on every style is free; Pro, £6.99 a month, adds P&L month by month.

Moving off Stocky, in four steps

  1. Export your purchase orders now

Shopify keeps a read-only export of Stocky data open for at least 90 days after the 31 August 2026 shutdown. Export your purchase orders while that window is open, so you have the history.

  2. Add your styles and size runs

Set up each style in Notch with its sizes and colours and the stock you hold. Then export your orders from Shopify as a CSV and import them, so sales come off the right style and size. Nothing syncs live: re-import when you want the two to match.

  3. Re-enter open production orders

For anything still on order, add the PO number, the deposit paid, the balance due and the expected date. Closed orders can stay in your old export.

  4. Add landed cost per unit

Freight, duty and packaging, shared across the order, so every style shows what it really costs and what it makes.

Work it out with the landed cost calculator

Questions

Is Notch a Shopify app?

No. It is a separate app that works alongside Shopify. You set up your styles in it, then import sales from a Shopify orders CSV export. There is no live sync, so stock does not update on its own.

Does it do purchase orders?

It does production orders: placing a run stamps a PO number, splits quantities across the size run, and tracks deposit paid, balance due and the expected date through to goods in.

What does it cost?

Notch is free on its own, with profit on every style. Pro is £6.99 a month for P&L month by month and unlimited invoices, with a 14-day trial.

Know what every style really makes.

Cost, stock by size and profit for every style an independent brand makes. Works alongside Shopify, with CSV import.
