What is dead stock?
Items that have sat unsold for so long they are tying up cash instead of making it.
Dead stock is stock that has stopped moving. Most resellers draw the line somewhere between 60 and 90 days listed without a sale, though the right line depends on what you sell and when.
Example: 12 items over 90 days old that cost you £8.00 each is £96.00 of cash sitting on a rail. The usual fixes are a price drop, a bundle, relisting with new photos or moving the item to a different marketplace. Whatever you choose, decide on purpose rather than letting the pile grow.
