What is end-to-end encryption?
A way of protecting data so only you can read it, not even the service holding it.
End-to-end encryption means your data is scrambled on your own device with a key that never leaves you. What gets stored or synced is unreadable ciphertext.
It is the difference between a company that promises not to look at your data and one that genuinely cannot. In Sedonis this is Vault: off by default, free on every plan. With Vault on, your data is encrypted on your device with a key from your passphrase, so we cannot read it. In the default Standard mode, the synced copy is readable by us.
