← Glossary Business glossary How to write an invoice
What is Net 30?
Payment terms that mean the invoice is due 30 days after it is issued.
Net 30 (or net 14, net 7) sets when payment is due: 30 days from the invoice date. It is common in B2B work.
Longer terms are a favour to the client and a cash-flow cost to you. Shorter terms get you paid faster; state them clearly on the invoice.
