What is MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)?

The predictable revenue you earn every month from subscriptions or retainers.

MRR is the total recurring income you can count on each month. For a freelancer it might be retainers; for a product it might be subscriptions.

Recurring revenue is valuable because it is predictable, which makes planning and cash flow far easier than living sale to sale.
